In my opinion, a facelift is much more than a simple skin lift; every detail is critical to the success of the procedure. As a plastic surgeon, I am well aware of the significant difference between plastic surgery and general surgery, that is, the almost harsh pursuit of beauty and details.
In order to bring better surgical results and experience to my patients, I have always been committed to starting from the details, optimising three major surgical processes and improving more than fifty surgical details. To solve the problem of obvious post-operative scars, I will design the incision position and size according to each candidate's facial contour, skin condition and personal needs. The pre-auricular incision is designed along the ear screen to make the incision more invisible, while the post-auricular incision follows the direction of the natural folds and minimises the tension of the fine sutures in an effort to make the scars invisible.
Not only that, my team and I have come up with 'diversified' solutions to enhance the safety, neatness and comfort of the candidates during and after the surgery, and to speed up the recovery period. For example, a fine hair bundle instead of shaving is both aesthetically pleasing and considerate; postoperative elastic fixation in the expression area reduces oedema, postoperative negative pressure drainage reduces swelling, a custom-made ergonomic mask enhances comfort, and the ability to take a shower before removing the stitches is also achieved. These details have garnered widespread praise from my candidates and have made me even more determined in my obsessive pursuit of details.
